The students spent the day between a variety of favorite activities.  There was time to paint at our easel, time to play in the sandbox, and time to do a project with glue (a mosaic-like piece).  We also started to re-read some of our most favorite books (Pete the Cat, included - obviously).  

June 6th, 2014 (2014)

I thought it would be fun to see what the students did with these old paper-towel rolls.  It was as amusing for the kids as it was for Ramonita and I to watch them get creative with these simple, recycled items.  We spent a nice long time in the gym and also took a long walk outside.  It's awfully nice to enjoy each  other's company before leaving for the summer.  It has been easy to indulge in this pleasure as a class!
