The class continued playing with our new "block" collection today. Working with items like this helps the students playfully learn about gravity and spacial awareness. Activities like this are also good for these active movers as it challenges strength and agility. We also spent some time with the alphabet and counting with introduction of two new books: "Duck Sock Hop" and "G is for Goat". An impromptu play session with hats was also encouraged due to the excitement of Zoe's cool hat and the hats seen in "Duck Sock Hop"! Zoe, Fjola, and Libby also requested that we all take our sweaters off (myself and Ramonita included)! Terribly fun and silly day.
