Each student was given a pumpkin to dissect this
morning! The class is quite familiar
with the characteristics of the outside of a pumpkin; it became time to explore
the inside. Once hollowed, each student
helped to add fertilizer and water to his or her pumpkin, and then placed a few
of the seeds back inside. Over the next
few weeks we hope to see our pumpkins sprout!
