Sept. 12th, 2013 (Thurs)

Nancy and I witnessed another wonderful day of the students forming attachments with school.  The students have been invited to explore a variety of new experiences each day this week.  It is exciting to begin to understand how each child is affected by an experience and how that behavior will guide Nancy and I as the school year progresses.

Free Play as students arrive int he morning.

We all enjoy a snack and story ("How Do Dinosaurs Go to School?") before heading to the gym.

Circle Time is spent with lots of songs including each students name, so that we all become very familiar with each other.

As a class we all help to make our first batch of play-dough!  Making the dough and introducing the students to the art material were two equally fun experiences.

Each student returned to Free Play before having lunch, reading a few more books, and saying some, "Good Byes!"

Libby: "Pasta!"
