The day began with an introduction to beads. The class also traveled outside where we discovered some freshly grown mint, basil, and eggplant. We all used out senses to explore these interesting plants. We also celebrated Isela's birthday today with homemade cornbread and some singing. The class presented Isela with the portrait we all helped to complete for her as a birthday gift.
