It has been fun to watch each student grown into our classroom. Nancy and I are beginning to see patterns of behavior and play and interactions from each student. Both the students who are familiar with being at Buckle My Shoe and those who are new, are building upon the experiences they have each day.
Students roam the room for Free Play as each friend arrives at school before morning snack and then a trip to the gym.
Gym
After returning from the gym and joining together for circle time and some organized movement with "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes", the students were led in an introduction to pastels on white paper.
Art
After working with pastels, the students alternated between Free Play and an exploration in the sandbox.
Science
Lunch and story time followed Art and Science.
