After a full week of school, it is evident to Nancy and I just how much we have gained by both the teachers and the students.  The children have become comfortable in a way that has allowed the class to come together as a group for introductions to new materials, particularly for art.  Nancy and I look forward to revisiting all that was introduced this week!

 

 The class sits down for a snack and some stories before heading to the gym.

 

                           

     

 

After spending some time at the gym, Nancy and I brought out the play-dough we had made as a class the day before.  As the class revisits the materials they've already been introduced to, each student can build upon his or her skills.

Nancy and I also brought out the drawings the students had done with the pastels earlier this week.  The works were revisited with watercolor paints by the students.
