The class had such a fun day partaking in our silly celebration! We spent the morning trying on our friend's hats and had many pretend tea parties. We also mixed iced tea to have with blueberry scones for our actual tea party. The students have reached a point in development where it is clear some new understanding has been gained in the way of recognizing what imagination is. The students are now able to utilize symbolism in daily life as they play, a tool that will prove useful throughout their lives.
