The students spent the majority of the morning participating in another exploration into "Big Messy Painting". In preparing for the Spring Art Fair the class has spent multiple mornings contributing to this canvas that will be displayed as a class-wide collaborative piece. The students are continually provided with an assortment of intriguing materials to use, but have continued to enjoy the thrill of seeking a more tactile and experiential relationship with the paint - the students have reminded me about appreciating the process of a project rather than determining or looking towards the outcome.
